Situated snuggly between Joseph Bryan Park to the south and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to the north is a mile and a half ribbon of asphalt the Virginia Department of Transportation calls Route 161. Around here however we know it as Lakeside Avenue...and for us this is home!

Void mostly of the cookie cutter chain stores and restaurants that dot other parts of the city, Lakeside is home to many small owner-operated businesses catering to every possible need. In most of the shops and offices, the owners themselves are there to welcome you and to provide a level of service most thought was long ago gone.
